I use Kosher salt in my aquariums. I wonder if I could use that. đŸ¤”

I'm not sure if diabetes is considered an autoimmune disease. I'll need to look that up.

Jessica, I think I'd prefer you stay here to avoid any editorial pressure on your writing. Just my opinion. YMMV

For those of us who aren't skilled at making batches of anything, where can we buy at a reasonable price this hocl mixture that you recommend?

What do you think of this appliance? https://www.amazon.com/Ecoloxtech-Eco-Electrolyzed-Water-System/dp/B09QH7YGB9/?th=1

It claims to make HOCL, but oftentimes things like this don't work as advertised.

Thanks for a very good and useful article. I learned recently (yesterday, actually) that alcohol is ineffective against norovirus, whereas HOCl destroys it quickly. That seems to me particularly important since a lot of people substitute alcohol-based hand sanitizer for thorough hand washing.

My wife and I (mostly my wife) have been looking into HOCL. She already has and uses a little generator. But the homemade stuff loses its effectiveness rapidly - within a day or two - so using test strips is important. For that reason, we have ordered stabilized HOCL online. That's supposed to be usable for up to 90 days once opened, although I suppose there may be variance between brands.

I'm sure if there is an outbreak of an H5N1 variant among humans, masks and HOCL will be a lot more efficacious than whatever mix of vet meds and homeopathic remedies we get from RFK Jr. I wonder if someday soon I won't be the only person in Costco wearing a respirator.

So here is my question. Can I just buy a safe disinfectant with 40% alcohol as well as a hypochlous acid disinfectant that is safe for us, but strong enough to kill the H5N1? This time there are so many people out there who no longer believe that COVID 19 is a danger so would also be in denial that the H5N1 virus will be either. So my stockpiling wouldn't effect the general public. I work, take care of a family of four and two cats and have so much on my plate. I am exhausted all of the time because I don't get quality sleep at night. The thought of getting a generator.....etc. is so overwhelming. I just need it to be easy to buy, park it in the garage and then just start using them when the time comes. Do you have suggestions of brands and correct chemical amounts to make it easy for us fellow stressed out folks who feel like but dont really mean....shoot me now and put me out of my misery? I would be so thankful if you could.

Purple top tubs, soap and water, hocl, or there is always the very cheap "cap to gallon".

Mixing disinfectants is dicey af, Don't do that.

Thanks, although I don't think I would last long at either place. :)
