Brilliant piece. I mean… utterly terrifying, of course… but brilliantly put. Thank you.

Being proactive is increasingly impossible when faced with something this big. It's not viable to prepare for all or even most of the challenges.

Being reactive, once the situation is clear because it's bearing down on you, will be too little, too late.

All we're doing is trying to having contingencies in place to stave off the worst of the beginning of the collapse. I guess buying time?

But maybe it's a fool's game.

Lies lies and incompetence with hysteria and a complete lack of digesting facts that disagree with one's own perspective and stance / ideals.

EVERY prediction made by the climate alarmists has failed. Every. Single. One.

We were told 36 years ago that we only have ten years left.

We were told that the Arctic would be ice- free by 2015. Arctic ice is virtually unchanged.

We were told that polar bears were endangered. They are overpopulated.

We were told there would be an increase in severe weather events. They have decreased.

We were told that sea level rise would inundate Manhattan. Sea level continues rising at the same rate it has since the last ice age glaciation ended.

We were told there would be desertification and crop failures. Deserts are greener and harvests are the biggest ever.

Temperatures were warmer in the 1930s than they are now. They were also warmer 900 years ago. They were also warmer 2000 years ago.

There is no climate crisis; only a crisis among Marxists because no one believes the hype anymore.

Did... did you just close your eyes and skip over all the data and graphs and links contained in this post? Harvests are NOT the biggest ever--that's explained in the data. There has NOT been a decrease of severe weather events--just pay attention to the size, scope, and severity of storms in the past few years. Like, you're not looking at the actual, factual data.

Re "I just know that you should be thinking about what you're going to do."

Point 13 of Karen's 'benefits of collapse acceptance' is death preparation.

Re "Some people are going to keep protesting until they're killed by a fascist police force."

Roger Hallam: I would have gone to prison for the Heathrow thing, even if no one had known about it. It's like the White Rose movement that handed out leaflets against the Nazis. They weren't doing it because they were going to win, but because they couldn't live with themselves as moral beings if they just stood by and did nothing.

DER SPIEGEL: Isn't this just another questionable comparison? The members of the White Rose movement were beheaded by the Nazis.

Roger Hallam: Of course, their sacrifice was so much greater than mine. But the point I am making is that one should act on what is morally right, regardless of whether you think you will be successful. This is the virtue ethics position taken by most rebels in history.

If somebody smokes next to your baby, do you say something? If somebody beats your child, do you say something? If somebody eats meat, do you say something? If somebody drives a private car, do you say something? What is a modern tolerance paradox that is pro-life?
